When the construction stopped it was very peaceful. It’s a beautiful property.

The location was great for us. We wanted to be rural and Santillana del Mar was a 2 Km walk, Altamira cave museum was a 3 Km walk, it was 7.5 Km to L'Ermita de Santa Justa and Torrelavega was a short train ride from Puente San Miguel.

Clean and comfortable, nice breakfast. Staff were not there when we checked in, but key was available, room was ready and staff were available at the end of the phone to deal with queries.
